The Bank Restaurant was originally a lloyds bank hence the name. The Bank Restaurant was a tricky one as the floor was in a very poor state and we had to arrange for tarmac to be laid inside the building as there was no damp proofing when we removed the floorboards and concrete would have just cracked or lifted so asphalt was the option The Bank Restaurant chose. We then laid karndean flooring in a bear wood colour.
The Bank Restaurant was not a full turn key operation, we were asked to do the flooring, the bar and the vanity units in the toilets.
On the bar at The Bank Restaurant they chose a solid surface top and the carcass of the bar was made using trespa which is a moisture resistant and hard wearing material, perfect for a bar then it was laminated in black wood grain with light brown flash gaps and a stainless steel plinth.
The vanity units in the toilets were made in complementary colours to the bar using laminated MFC boarding which again is moisture resistant.
